Mark and I are reading Practice Resurrection by Eugene Peterson right now and I am LOVING IT. Peterson is not only extremely insightful, but he is so quotable. So what follows over the next few weeks will be quotes from his book as I am reading it. Enjoy!

He is incredibly quotable. I had to read ‘Christ Plays in Ten Thousand Places’ slowly to chew on his dense languages. Reading Peterson is like conversing with your incredibly wise Grandfather who is also a pastor and scholar.

    Mike,

If I could read the entire of corpus of only two writers, one of them would definitely be Eugene Peterson. He is indeed the grandfather of pastorology. (Oh and the other write would be N.T. Wright).
